My name is Sarah Russell and I am the owner of Emily Made a Wish.

So… if I am SARAH why EMILY Made a Wish?

Emily is my granddaughter and she always has a long list of requirements when it comes to her cakes (as children do) and one birthday she requested ‘aknightadragonaprincessafrogacastle’  *pause to breathe* all on one cake! The wording on the cake, I decided, should read ‘One day Emily Made a Wish’ which is the moment the light bulb in my head went DING and the business name was born!

I am a home based business in Worcester, Worcestershire although I have delivered cakes in one piece as far as Brighton! So subject to mileage and delivery charge, distance is (mostly) no object.
I have over twenty years of cake baking and decorating experience and in recent years have entered competitions  resulting in  Gold and 1st at the Cake International Show (NEC Birmingham) for my cake design ‘Amazing Autumn’ in 2011 and silver for my Halloween design in 2010.
I have also won Gold and the trophy at the Cheltenham and Gloucester British Sugarcraft Guild Exhibition in 2011 for my ‘Cake for a Royal Wedding’.

My kitchen is council registered (currently pre- inspection) and I hold a Level 2 Food Safety certificate. I am also a member of and insured by the British Sugarcraft Guild.
I feel my strength lies in being able to create individual and unique cakes totally with the customer in mind. I never ever make two cakes exactly the same ensuring your creation is one of a kind.

So if you want something different whether for a birthday, christening, anniversary, wedding or indeed ANY event please do get in touch!
